In this session, the Co-founder of Amala, Mia Eskelund Pedersen will speak about her non-profit and social innovation organisation Amala that has developed the first international secondary diploma qualification for refugee youth in response to the global problem where more than 60% of refugee youth do have access to secondary education. Mia will also share her entrepreneurial journey, turning an idea into reality, and highlight the role of her international and IB education in inspiring a commitment to providing transformative educational opportunities for refugee and crisis affected youth.
