To thrive in today’s world, children and young people need a wide range of skills rooted in quality education. New technologies are transforming learning and jobs. Climate change is requiring industries to adapt, demanding a deep understanding and application of green skills. At the same time, millions of children in the most vulnerable communities around the world cannot access education due to global shocks such as conflict, the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and climate change. Lack of digital connectivity is preventing the most vulnerable children from learning and opportunities. However, with bold leadership and commitment, progress in transforming education for every child is possible.
