International schools which adopt the IB program, pride themselves on with having students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, it is paramount that they reflect this pride in how they deliver an IB education by placing their diversity of cultures at the centre of their learning. This session will ask participants to consider: How can we develop, implement, and maintain intentional inclusive strategies so that all stakeholders within the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) are in a thriving and inclusive environment? How can we encourage critical thinking and engagement within the whole school environment regarding the diversity of cultures we come from? With the goal to encourage schools and other educational institutions to look inward, recognise areas of improvement and take action when it comes to these aspects we hope to help participants to achieve and execute the right mindset inside and outside of the classroom for the betterment of their students and themselves.
